Just what is a Swedish Dishcloth?
Swedish dishcloth was invented by a Swedish engineer, Curt Lindquist back in 1949. It is a sponge-like cloth made from plant-based cellulose (70%) and cotton (30%).
Since it's plant-based, it is fully compostable. It enriches the soil with its nutrients, hence considered zero waste.
It dries quickly and can absorb 20 times of its own weights. It's durable and reusable. It hardens when it dries and softens when it's wet.
Here is a video about how it works.
